I was going through the U.P. map, and thought an idea about making this station as the junction station, as shown in the map. This new route can also be the alternative to congested NDLS-CNB route, especially for CNB terminating trains, coming from NDLS side.
Example Shram Shakti Express, via GZB-MB-BE-HRI-ON-CNB. This overall route may take 8 hours for a superfast, but will improve the timings for NDLS-CNB pax of this train.
Also the trains from Farukhhabad (like JP-LJN Express) can come to Hardoi directly from Farukhhabad, skipping CNB (JP-CNB section

already have too many trains).
Among BSK, Vaishali, Gorakhdham etc, those take LKO-CNB-ETW-TDL route, a one or two can be diverted via LKO-HRI-FBD-SKB-TDL route. With so many trains from NDLS and Bihar to CNB, I dont think CNB will have any problem in diverting 1-2 trains.
In future, after electrification and speed upgradation of the section, Even a few Rajdhani's can also be diverted through this route.
Also, Can be an alternate NDLS-ALD route via: MB-BE-HRI-ON-UCR.
Suggestions please.

Most of the problems can be souted out only for IR and NR making NDLS-MB-BE-LK0 section 130 fit..
You see in the morning you have 8 trains from NDLS to CNB via the ALJN and TDL route..And all of these arrive CNB with a delay of minimum 1 hour or even more at times...
While there are just 2 3 trains via MB-LKO route..
So
...
2 3 trains like NE or Sikkim Mahananda or Seemanchal can be via MB-LKO route because this route isn't congested in the morning...And even if you watch closely u will find that congestion at LKO starts after 04:00PM in the evening..Before that It is quiet free and good..
And it is just Because of the fact that NR isn't 130 ready otherwise u would have seen half of the Rajdhanis and Durantos via LKO itself cuz it is the state capital...And even today I am in favour of giving SDLH Raj via LKO and and BBS Raj thrice a week via LKO..
And your proposed route via MB-BE-HRI-BLM-CNB is already used by JAT-CNB Superfast express..
So some of the late runners of non stops can use this route as well..
And yes it is the need of the hour for IR to construct new routes and get them electrified and 120 130 MPS ready as well for future diversion of non stop trains..
And I still think that if LKO is made of the level of NDLS which it should be I think getting 3 4 more platforms and NR getting its tracks 130 ready a Lott of prblms can be solved by diverting some high class trains via LKO..
