more... Our NITI Aayok shall be insisted our Indian Railway to operate at least one passenger train to the State Capital from all the Railway stations in their state jurisdictions.
About 70 % of the Railway stations are well connected by a passenger train to their State capital.
Example.. In SWR, Hubbali to Bangalore, 469 km distance is well connected by three pairs of passenger train for the poor people of Karnataka to reach their state capital.
But in SR, beyond Villuppuram (163 km) no through passenger trains are operated from the Tamilnadu state capital Chennai for the poor people.
During the British / MG era 2 passenger trains are operated between Chennai to Shenkottai via main line ( 735 km ) for the poor people's convenience.
Under the same SR, in Kerala State also from Thiruvanandhapuram no through passenger trains are operated beyond Kottayam ( 156 km ) for the poor people to reach their State capital .
Nowadays our IR completely forget about poor peoples travel in passenger train to their State capital during the British era / Meter Gauge periods.
Requested once again that all the Railway station shall be connected to their State Capital by a through / link passenger train for the poor peoples convenience.
