This portal was introduced to compete with irctc.co.in portal. But itself crashed. and crashed to badly, that repair work will take time. I read somewhere, that tickets worth 2.5crores were booked through this portal but payment not charged to passengers, this detection led IR to suspend the portal till it is sure and safe to repopen again..
