HariprasadUnnikrishnan~ 1037 blog postsNow both 22609/10 intercity getting ED WDP 4D loco along with ED WDM 3D. I believe its due to 16649/50, 16605/06 getting E-loco end to end.
16605/06 has nothing to do with this. Because it used to run with ERS ALCO. And ERS ALCO hasn't replaced any link of ED to get WDP4D free.
The actual reason is change in LSA pattern. With 2 EMD trains(Parasu and Malabar) moving to eloco. There was changes in LSA. That could be the reason of change in loco of ICE.
Previously, loco which comes with netravathi used to go with parasu to MAQ, and that loco will go to TPJ with MAQ-MS express. Now with Parasu moving to eloco, this LSA patten...
