In plain areas they are facing the heat so much and electrification and doubling project are getting delayed by 5-10 years , in such a difficult terrain where complexity level is so high its definitely going to be time consuming.

Yes it will be a difficult project and so the Pathankot-Bilaspur-Mandi-Leh line project but I'm glad that almost 70 yrs after independence Government has decided to connect these remote places to the mainland of India..
I dont believe anyone has said this so far but these projects carry a significant strategic significance, in case of hostilities against china. Just like the new longest bridge in assam which has the ability to allow tanks to pass through it. And i am very happy that projects to connect these distant places is finally being undertaken.
