Trains connecting pilgrim centres to major population centres make better sense than connecting two pilgrim centres.
Rameswaram and other pilgrim centres should be connected to weekly trains from Metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangaluru, Secunderabad, Ahmedabad etc so that a good patronage is ensured.
