Mangaluru needs a fast night train, but they run a damn slow day train on the shortest route.
Not a single daily passenger or express train is present between the districts of Ballari, Koppala and Bagalkote, Vijayapura.
Need pitlines at Ballari, BGM, SMET, BJP, but IR/SWR never care for these regions.
Its just useless for the RM to come to Bengaluru to inaugurate a lift and a renovated food plaza. Better go to Toranagallu for flagging off of the rake from JSW Steel and know the ground reality of the region.
