Minister of Coal have to be passed on to some other Cabinet Minister from the new RM so as our New RM fully concentrated in our Indian Railway Safety and Developments
MR PIYUSH GOYAL WAS SUCCESSFUL IN HANDLING COAL MINISTRY.
AS A RAIL MINISTER HE SHOULD FIRST SCRAP "FLEXI FAIR SYSTEM" IMMEDIATELY. IT IS LIKE JIZIA TAX.
FOR SAME FACILITY, SAME FAIR SHOULD BE CHARGED FROM each PASSENGERS TRAVELLING IN SAY SAME COACH FOR SAME DISTANCE.
IF RAILWAY NEEDS ADDITIONAL REVENUE it CAN EQUALLY INCREASE FAIR BY Rs. 5/- ONLY for all trains/ classes

* Quantum of increase in fares has to be distance dependent. It would be unfair to raise Rs 5 for 10km travel as well as for 2000 kms travel. just 5 Rs rise in each ticket is not going to solve the problem, much steeper rise is required.
* Fare increase has to be class dependent as well. A raise fare of 500 Rs is justified for 3000 km journey in ACI class. But the same is not justified (too high) for 3000km journey in non ac general or reserved class.
