Dear all,
is the rail roko dates for hyderbad changed. I have tickets to travel from YPR to KCG throught sampark kranti on 9Oct2011 night and reach HYD on 10Oct morning. is it safe and ok to travel by this train. I read that dates are changed. could you also provide the reference for this information. Because any news websites are not publishing this info.

i'm not into any political combat here!! but i can see that common man are the sufferers in this act!!
they stop trains because that is the easiest accesible and no body cares no matter how many trains are cancelled, delayed. But if they want their issues to be highlighted they should roko the flights in which our netas travel or VIPs, big people travel. that will require a lot of courage for these people and the netas on their part ensure maximum security for themselves at the expense of tax payers money. So to solve telagana demand they should do rasta or runway roko at the airports.
Haha Rasta roko on Run way ?? Hyderabad airport operated by pvt people..so never allow this thing to happen. Railways is always target to every one.
Y is this thing happening only in INDIA... Shame on the Govt ..... Shame on Indian Railways

rail roko is the peaceful and democratic form of protest which involves squatting on the tracks anywhere and anytime to,ventilate grievances or in support of demands, just or unjust, real or imaginary. it also involves inflicting untold hardship and suffering on millions of passengers. the proponents of this peaceful form of protest also claim that it is a legacy bequeathed to us by the mahatma, the father of the nation. it can also involve burning of coaches, locos, stations etc,.in short wanton destruction of rail property.
