Observations
1. Impossible to REGULARIZE it. Need to improve infrastructure , remove PSR TSR , then only possible to regularize.
2. MTJ TKD needs to be given 150 clearance . WCR must also ttry for 150 clearance in RTM MTJ .
3. Dual WAP5 have awsome acceleration but struggle in rough terrain .. BRC RTM struggles to maintain 90 average speed.....needs improvement.
4.

Signalling technology inbuilt in loco is needed for ontime running in FOG.... Inaugural run struggled in Mumbai Fog.
5. LHB rakes struggle in curves to maintain speed. Tilting TALGO type rakes can give better performance and reduce running time to 12.30 hours

Good observations.
However, I have a doubt. All the viseos that I have seen, the second WAP5's Pentograph was always lowered.
Does the second Loco gets power through the Coupling?
Also for slowing down, the WAP5s have Regenerative braking. This means the Traction Motors act as Generators producing Electrical power and feeding it to the OHE. That would require the Pentograh to be

extended?
Any idea, how all this is achived?

Reading some of the Advantages of both WAP/WDP -- if case twin is used -- can it be WAP5+WDP4 or similar e-loco+d-loco combination? Is it possible? If yes, has IR (or any other railways) ever used such a combination? Will it able to give Advantages of both WAP/WDP?

IR has used a HV (High voltage) connector to supply power from the leading locomotive to the trailing locomotive. This is a 25KV High voltage connector. I've highlighted the connector in the attached image (Credits: Suarabh Raut - Youtube link - click here
In addition, the control signals are transferred through the I-V connectors. Even during regenerative braking, the same HV connector transfers the power from the trailing loco to the leading loco's pantograph and further to the OHE cable.

locos are MU-ed, both locos need to have their pantographs raised to get power from the OHE. But in case of the Twin WAP5's, since they are supposed to run at high speeds, two raised pantographs might result in uncontrolled OHE oscillations. So to avoid that, IR is using the HV connector to avoid the need to raise both pantographs.
