arvindgr~ 329 blog postsI was wondering this for really long time., For all Festival special SR gives some Specials starting from MS. This time they gave KJM-TPJ which is barely useful. But everyone knows SBC has more MAS people and such Spl would be much much helpful.. Why SBC-MAS specials were never reality?? Also Mighty Brindavan/DD leaves SBC too early and Kaveri is too late.., Why there is no SBC-MAS trains even during such festival times??
I too always pondered over the same. Few years back, a special train was introduced for Diwali between MAS and SBC. It had CC and 2S coaches as it had RSA with Brindavan and Lalbagh/SBC MAS SF. 12640 that reached MAS departed as MAS SBC Overnight special and 12607/9 used to come as SBC MAS overnight special from SBC.This led to swapping of rakes and Brindavan even ran with SWR rake because 12607/9 that comes as special to MAS the next morning would return as 12639 immediately.A very complex RSA indeed. :)
