Steel express runs only around 250 km,yet it has a pantry and 1AC. Isnt it amazing?

This train has normal First AC coach having cabins and coupes.
I think some of these trains like Steel Express and DQ have historically been commuter trains having dining/pantry cars since inception (from British ka Zamana).
Attaching Pantry car is totally based on requirements specially in case of Short distance trains.
TataNagar is a TATA Major and one of those biggest Hi-Profile business area; hence the requirement of 1A and Pantry car is highly justified in this train.
Obviously it doesn't mean that long distance trains which doesn't have PC doesn't require it.It is based on the operation of the train along with the stations having (Smaller or Bigger)base-Kitchens nad availability of Vendors willing to operate in the sectors.
