I think it was announced in the railways budget that Yesvantpur-Howrah duronto will be made to run on 4 days of week (quad weekly) from Apr 1st 2010 but I still see it's being run only for 1 day of the week. Is the date of executing the order postponed?

Yes, It has been mentioned in the budget, but as of now frequency of this train has not been increased.
There is definitely an announcement in the budget for frequency increase to 4 days a week but the issue you have raised here is starting from 1.4.2010. The Railways announcements are mere announcements only and not linked to a start of the financial year. There are many announcements made even in past 2-4 yrs but still pending.
However, for this 4-days a week/2246 ... hopefully it would be by 30.6.2010 but certainly before the next budget Feb 2011.

This Year the new TT will be Published from wef 01-07-2010.
Then we can know the details.
