A train travel is something memorable for a railfan. But have you ever had a scary/life threatening experience while travelling in a train? Share your thoughts in comments.

I lived in Daman(near Vapi) . At that time I was 10 yrs old. At that time we had to travel to BDTS by Karnavati and then to CSTM by local to catch a train towards NGP. We were travelling by Local to catch a train which I don't remember. From childhood I had seen videos where people hanged on doors of Locals. Some for RFing and some for pure leisure.(Bachpan se hi badmaash thaπ). Maine bhi try kiya. But haath slip ho gaya. Saamne se local aa rahi thi but a good passenger saved me. And Even now I thank him.π
It Was 2012. Me & My Wife Were Traveling By Puri-Howrah Duronto Exp [ Now Runs As Shatabdi Exp] , Coach No C-4. After KGP, Poisonous Gas Started Coming Out Of AC Vents And In A Flash Entire Coach Was Full Of Gas. Immediately I Pulled The Chain And Train Took Few Seconds To Come To A Halt. All The Passengers Were Shifted To C-3 & C-5.... And Doors Of The Coach Were Kept Open... Reached HWH In That Condition Only
First incident: 2013, I was 14 and went to attend a marriage at Ashoknagar after all the functions were over we went to the station to board Gwalior-Bhopal intercity to bhopal. Over train got started with good speed a man came running with baggage on his back holded the door, got slipped and went under the train. He got cutted into half π
Second incident: Once I was travelling to gwalior, our train Damoh-gwalior pass was 4 hours late due to same malfunction in the engine (ET jumbo), finally it arrived with a Gonda shed loco on the way the Itarsi loco caught fire everyone started to jump out of the window etc.
