Vishakapatnam to vijayawada(351 km) 13 intermediate halts, Vijayawada to secunderabad(350 km) 3 halts. FUNNY!!
It might save much more time if the halts between vskp and bza are reduced. Its not like a SF train between vskp and bza!

very true!!! if the stops are removed..its like the life line is cut to many coastal towns in ap!!
This train truly requires WAP-7 end to end ... another 2 sleepers can be added
The train has many halts between Rajahmundry and Vishakapatnam. But it takes almost the same time as the other super fast trains. may be 5-10 min late. The halts can not be removed because there is no other train to serve for the towns in between.
this train is a main fast connection for coastal districts to the state capital, After BZA all stops are at late night till SC..and for its pairing train People from SC to Kazipet, warangal, mahbubabad, khamman ,dornakal and BZA have Shatavahana EXP to connect...so this train can maintain its speed between SC and BZA..
