But why this CPRO is being given?
This CPRO and her bloopers are well known, would have never left her AC office let alone be responsible for any safety, and she gets "conferred"!!??

probably got 'nominated' by her zone to receive the award.
there is, if i'm not wrong, a safety department in railways. not sure why they didn't get it
someone from P-way department would have been more suitable rather than CPRO, although I guess being Dy GM swayed the decision in her favor.
