Yes actually this was discussed by many members too. Initially by one admin Karthi (SOURAV).
if you get permission from Chief Engg and staff has no issues then it can be done.
for long time Pune-BSL express used to run with a dead loco at the back, which, as per the senior RFs from CR, was done so as to send those locos back to shed.

That's a very good idea..Should be implemented..That too for a train which runs with E-loco then D-loco (for a short distance) again E-loco.. Doing this saves about 10 min which matters a lot
