can i board train temporary with platform ticket ? what is time validity of platform ticket ?

After 2 hours, you will be treated as without Platform tickets according to railway rules. But, i do not know the fine amount. Experts may comment. YOU may enter the platform say 30 min before the train arrives. See how much the train is late and decide accordingly when to purchase platform ticket.
