Loco pilots of trains with LHB rake start stop suchvtgat jerks felt every time

That is a pretty old issue. LP's are pretty much used to handling CBC rakes now. Also, most LP's work freight trains at some point during their careers and all freight rakes have CBC couplers. So handling them is not really new for them.
The jerks are because of the CBC couplers. Sometimes, even if LP's are extra careful, the jerks cannot be avoided as they are inherent to the design of CBC couplers. This is a trade-off to be made for the increased safety due to CBC.
