* RM Says-“Also, just by introducing modern signalling on the golden quadrilateral route, we can increase the line capacity by 50%"
* Then who stopped IR to decongest the IR network by spending relatively much smaller funds on signalling ???, why this has not happened in many decades??????
* Why had IR been spending huge amounts in tripling & quadrupling without debottlenecking the network rather than getting the desired result by investing smaller amounts in modernisation of signalling?????

Most likely reason is that engineering(civil) lobby in IR is much more powerful than the electrical & signalling lobby who used its muscle power to corner maximum funds to construct new lines rather than letting the funds go to the deserving lobby i.e. signalling/electrical.
