>>Sir,I strongly believe that fare for bullet train will definitely be lesser than Aircraft Travel, considering Jet Lite, Go air and Indigo are the only budget airlines in India(Considering Kingfisher red to be history soon), their fares are nowhere low as compared to the erstwhile Air deccan, they are almost same..Here are the points supporting my voice:

of a HSR is high, buts its a public Investment, not totally private(correct me if iam wrong), though being built or surveyed by non-Govt entity.so we dont need to expect costs being high.
