First time elected from BLP in 1957 then lost from BLP in 1962 to Subhadra Joshi then reelected in 1967 from BLP. 15 years of active politics from BLP out of 93 years of life. & 47 years of political career

It was introduced on Atal Jee's birthday, which is also observed as Sushasan ( Good Governance ) Day. Motive of this train was to connect his work and residential places together ( Gwalior, Morena, Delhi, Lucknow and Balrampur ). His first entry to parliament was from Balrampur.
