It's a station lying nearly abandoned for ages; no passenger service atleast since 2010 after a dredger hit pillers of the bridge connecting Willington Island with maniland.
Years after building a new bridge spending crores, they're now restoring passenger traffic on experimental basis in this route with introduction of a 3 coach DEMU connecting ERS with CHTS. The train is going to take 40 minutes to cover 6 km & there lies the key to its success!!
In this context, name board in Hindi deserves to be last of the concerns!!
