This 6000 hp monster WAP5 is more energy efficient & aerodynamic than it's precedor...

It is still unclear if this is a 5440 HP loco or a 6000+ HP loco. Only software differs. Some WAP5 locos have higher power ratings.
1. Continuous HP of regular WAP5 is 5440 HP.
2. The continuous HP of modified WAP5 is around 6125 HP, which is 12.5% more powerful as compared to a regular WAP5. For example, GZB WAP5 30136.
3. Continuous HP of WAG9/WAP7 is 6122 HP each.
4. Maximum power is not mentioned in any of the official data books of locomotives. But it will...

They should make it hog enabled keeping in view ongoing lhbfication
HOG compatible WAP5 (30140) is also under trial. It is yet to be tested with a Rajdhani/Shatabdi.
