It facilitates 1 km as block section between stations.If distance between the two station is 10km ,then 10 trains of passengers or goods are accommodated in between the stations in one direction.
So the Goods train have to be operated at least 80 km / hour ,so as the following passengers trains spread need not be slowed down below 80 km / hour.

Indian Railway shall be inducted this signalling systems in all the Diamond Quadrilateral routes connecting all the Metros and the major trunk routes as capacity augmentation.
Instead of Additional lines in double lines ,these signalling systems shall be implemented to augment the line capacity in all the major routes.
