TT is really not satisfactory,about 6 hrs from NDLS to UMB only which is 199 kms only .so average speed between NDLS & UMB is just 33 kms.

Its special train.. Dont expect to run Super Fast.. Will be given crossings and over takings.. So much time has been given to make the train reach the station as per shedule..

a good express/superfast train covers this distance in 2.5 hours but this is horrible
u can go by road faster than this

Have a look at overall utility than a single leg of journey, hopefully this can become regular train next year
