If the electrification is done till JMP in March 2019 how should railway utilize it. Changing locos at JMP will take time and it has only 3 platforms. I personally think that d-locos+e-locos should be attached with train from BGP itself for trains and d-loco should be detached at JMP. it will save time. But this can happen only in few trains in delhi direction. If Katni-Manikpur section is electified by then then this patter should follow in those trains also.
Other wise will have to wait for e-locos till JMP-BGP electrification is complete.

Jamalpur has 4 working platform. Future proposal are creating 5 more platforms. Few trains starting from Jamalpur and railway has definately some plan if they have divided it into 1st phase kiul to jamalpur elctrification.
