From Jan 20th 2019 onwards 11311/2 Solapur-Kalaburagi-Hassan superfast express will now run with 23 coaches. Also change in coaching composition earlier there were 8 sleeper coaches now 11 sleeper coaches. Here are coaching composition
2 breakvan, 11sleeper, 4 general, 2 AC 2tier, 3 Ac 3tier, 1 Ac first.
Total 23 coaches.

General reduced from 6 to 4 !!! I hope rail authorities know the kind of rush this train has in GS coaches to Raichur, Yadgir, KLBG dists. Its time to introduce another train starting from Bidar to Mysuru via KLBG, SBC.

Agreed this has demand for GS. But this train also has demand for SL and AC classes. That might have prompted this move. Basava is also an option for UR passengers.
