There are many LHB trains in Utkrisht list also. Now ICF trains are being refurbished. Seems LHB Utkrisht will take more time.
Even in future if Utkrisht train are LHBfied, these coaches can be given to other trains. It will still take more than 20 years for all trains to be LHBfied.

are these utkrisht rakes provided with cbc coupling or not ? ya sirf utkrisht k naam pe bahri soundarya ko hi nikhar rha railway..
Absolutely this is very confusing. Many trains under utkrisht category were not painted with this cream and red colour, only were refurbished in terms of interior aesthetics, like in HWH division Coalfield RSA was given refurbished rakes under project utkrisht and it has also recently got LHB set. Then we came to see these painted utkrisht coaches which was first seen in Delhi-Pathankot Exp and then Kalka Mail and slowly in many more trains. I don't know from where this different utkrisht scheme came from, but I think these painted utkrisht rakes are going to stay for a while, and the other coaches are going toget replaced first. Or who knows if these would also get replaced soon and were just painted differently during regular paintworks just because the RB suddenly out of nowhere asked to change the color scheme of the utkrisht trains and was done accordingly. See when Utkrist was first introduced the livery change was not mentioned. I think Pathankot is the first train to have this livery. Infact I later read somewhere that all existing stocks will be painted in the new shade. Then now Utkrisht means change in livery with advanced interiors. ASN SDAH ICE had upgraded interiors without any change in exterior livery.
