RailFans - we wander, but never get lost - Shaurya Kumar

Now, it was an unplanned Railfanning visit to MBM. Wanted to capture the legendary Quilon Mail in its BG version. After a hectic day, I went to MBM and waited for the train to pass through and what I got was an unexpected happiness, a surprise, a friendly gesture from the LP. He flashed headlights twice and showed thumbs up( not visible in the video) with a smiling face. It was the most memorable moment for me. This capture made my day. Captured CAPE express also(will post the video soon). Enjoy the video.

Pilot acknowledges by flashing headlight | RPM WAP7 with Chennai Egmore Kollam Express

That memorable moment for a railfan: As RPM WAP7 (in HOG shell) 30679 slowly enters Mambalam with the 16101 Chennai Egmore - Kollam Express, the friendly loco pilot acknowledges me by flashing headlight at 01:06 and 01:21. The WAP7 then starts accelerating with the 14 coach rake. Special thanks to the LP for that awesome twin tone honking/whining.
