At first place, it's a greatt acheivement that IR has been able to complete the Doubling of 602/620 kms on Kerala Trunk route...
The remaining 18 kms stretch will also be completed in future...
I still remember my frequent visits to Calicut/Kozhikode during 2006-2008, when doubling had just started there & locals were telling that it might never be completed thanks to the apathy from state govt & land acquisition issues in Kerala..

Agree to what you said. But i feel that so many stretches of doubling electrification has not had much impact in terms of reduction of travel time etc. Hoping that TVC divn and PGT division look into this aspect as well

That is because heavy traffic boss. see in TN also doubling has no impact on many trains. but bottlenecks avoided.
