Mostly South and East bound trains from YPR might be shifted here to free up space at YPR for running trains towards Hubli.
Shifting trains like Seshadri etc is of not much use. PF1-4 at SBC can only be used for trains going towards JTJ/SA or GTL. Even if trains like Seshadri/Sanghamitra etc are moved to BYPL, the freed up space at SBC cannot be used for any trains to MYS or interior Karnataka.

My view of telling that since Seshadri & SBC-NCJ Express have RSA guess NCJ express passes by BYPL enroute NCJ so cheste SBC daaka velli ravakarle ga...Even Morning Arrival to SBC from NCJ and Departing as Seshadri to CCT can be better managed i feel rather than doing up & down i may be wrong.
I frankly don't see this terminus solving much of the problem. The bigger problem at SBC is not accommodating the JTJ bound traffic. The problem is paucity of pitlines for maintenance. The problem is the weird schedules of trains with improper or non-existent RSA . The problem is that HUP Pass and HAS ICE need to be maintained at SBC/YPR coz nobody wants to think over constructing pitlines at HUP/HAS. The problem is that NED has no RSA and sits idle day to night at SBC. The problem is that even though SMET ICE goes all the way to SBC at similar times, SMET Pass isn't short terminated at YPR and is also taken all the way to SBC to hatch eggs on the three super-busy platforms. The problem is that 22689 never saw the light of the day.
This station is connected at both ends (One end to Banaswadi and other end to SBC-MAS line). This also has a triangle connection for SBC MAS line (both towards SBC and KJM).
One odd RSA. Salem to YPR passenger. Empty rake is taken to SBC from YPR immediately on arrival. Same way, empty rake is moved from SBC to YPR before it starts as Salem passenger. why not run from/ upto SBC? Atleast it would benefit passengers.
Another observation: There is no train from SBC towards MYS after 10:30 Rajya Rani upto 13:30 Malgudi. Why not Salem passenger run in this time? Say by 11:40 departure at SBC and arrival at MYS at 15:00. Even it can go to Chamarajanagar as 1500 passenger.
