Lone trip to Vaishno devi katra 2:
After visiting Vaishno devi and Bhairon mandir successfully, my next train is to catch Malwa Super Fast from Katra... somehow I managed to reach Katra railway station by 6.40am where my train departure was 6.55am.. but due to bit confusion regarding on which platform Malwa Superfast is got bit held up but luckily one RPF helped me taking my luggage till PF3 where malwa was standing, time was already 6.53 and starter was given and my coach was in loco so I decided to middle of coach and went to my coach.. by time I reached my berth train was departing, Weather was all clear and mountains which was under snow cover was reduced,
...
it was opposite when I traveled in Andaman which was overcast afternoon.. and for Malwa express loco in charge was BRC WAP4 22562(which I got to know at JAT) and it clear morning, sunshine was bright and as usual chilling cold... WAP4 was looking super when sun light falling on it, Though malwa is superfast .. it is like passenger between Katra to jammu tawi as it stops in all intermediate stations
Even after Jammu tawi I was fortunate to witness snowcovered mountains till patankoth all because to clear weather, during andaman I couldn't see those mountains because of overcast weather.
and in Malwa you will get only Vegetarian food and has Pantry car
and it was a good run till NDLS(Delhi) Since I was tired I slept in my side lower berth.. after sometime train started going slowly I thought some track issue but it continued even after 20 minutes I got up and saw weather was clear in night so I slept again .. still train was going slowly around 20 30 kmph speed again I got up and surprisingly there was heavy fog since I was tired dint attempted to capture fog photos
also in one station(NCR side) two to three overtake happened.. later around 3 or 4am train gained its speed mostly after Jhansi and Train was delayed 4 to 5 hours
Regarding train crowd it got crowded from Jat and by time reaching NDLS it was quite crowded
Something like 11.30am reached Bhopal from there ET WAP4 took incharge till Indore and at Dewas jn my train malwa waited for 2 train crossing.. and to my surprise AJJ WAP1 22007 came with INDB NDLS intercity , surprise is because AJJ WAP1 22007 was the for my Andaman express from MAS to NDLS and Finally reached Indore around 6pm and went to Retiring room, took some rest
Next Day morning logout from retiring room kept my luggage in cloak room, took bus to Mhow(DADN) reached there around 9am and booked my ticket for Heritage MG run DADN - kalakund - DADN unfortunately dint get vistadome coach ... and for that Heritage run there was good number of crowd came, sadly many of them not even know Meter gauge flavor they thought it is toy train
Dadn to kalakund it was stopping 15 to 20mins in scenic locations
many people were climbing into YDM4 for photos
and they serve tea/coffee two times in a journey
arrived at kalakund railway station almost 1 to 2hours resting there till 3.45pm. In kalakund Railway station only kachori samosa were available and kalakund sweets
Sanawad DADN passenger arrived and our train attached into Sanawad DADN passenger and our Heritage loco did job as banker kalakund to DADN
overall different experience but traveling in real MG train feels more excitement than this
Reached DADN by 4.50 and took DADN INDB DEMU
from INDB I took INDB KCVL express till MAJN, had nice run till MAJN.. saw electrification progress in KR side
Recahced MAJN at 6am and spent some time and went to hotel for breakfast and came... my next train was to catch KAWR YPR Day express till HAS.. Around 10.45am like that KAWR YPR day express arrived MAJN, link was KJM WDG3a 13035, Train was quite empty and got emergency window seat.. few people boarded at MAJN, Train departed at 11.30am and reached SBHR around 1pm by time KJM bleed blue WDG4 twins 12276 and 12639 with SBHR MAQ pass waiting for departure and another pair of KJM WDG4 twins 12638 and 12740 waiting for attach as banker to my KAWR YPR day express, after banker attached my train departed from SBHR and looped at siribagilu for Gomteshwara express .. surprisingly UBL WDG4 twins 12090(WDG4D livery) 120** and KJM WDG3a 14740 with Gomteshwara express arrived to siribagilu, my train departed from siribagilu.. and was enjoying KJM WDG4 twins(banker) notch sound whenever my train was passing inside tunnel and also spotted landslide affected areas during 2018 monsoon, which got flooded, reached SKLR around 4pm , at SKLR spotted KJM WDG3a twins and UBL WDG4 twins with their freights, around 5pm reached Hassan got down from train and next train was at 6.30 pm ASK MYS passenger... took some tiffin at HAS and bytime Rain started .. as well ASK MYS pass arrived ... boarded the train and reached my by 9.30pm .....
Thanks for the reading :)
