Railway electrification going speedily in UP and Bihar,whereas in Maharshtra the main line from Pune to Wadi via Solapur is still incomplete. Long delayed
Maharashtra ( Except Mumbai territory ) has relatively low density of Railway network..& that's purely because of powerful Bus lobby ( Road Mafia)..
Mumbai( The Finance capital of India) is connected to all the states of southern India by all imp Pune-Solapur-Wadi section..
Have we ever wonder, why Railways never bothered to double/ triple & electrify this extremely important link of the nation..Its baffling to understand..
