Rajz~ 3600 blog postsGuys need some help. My sister is travelling along with her son in 12259 from dhn to ndls. The tickets have been booked from sdah and boarding has been changed to dhn. Now post boarding the pantry guys are denying the dinner saying that food is not served to dhn passengers. Is it justified as I have booked from sdah to ndls and paid for pantry services but still being denied food?

Yes this is justified as per rules.....because you booked from SDAH but your boarding point is Dhanbad..you will get the benefit/ entitlement of Dhanbad boarding passengers..... you cannot claim for sdah to dhn sector.
This is another way of earning money by Railways...many passengers of Dhanbad book tickets from Sealdah pay more money but board from Dhanbad. And to earn this money extra Dhanbad alloted less no. Of seats compared to number of boarding passengers from Dhanbad.
