I think the Akola Khandwa gauge conversion project pendency is the created problem.
If Akola Khandwa gauge conversion project will complete then it'll be shortest connectivity for the South (East /West) and North (East/West ).
Due to pending work on this route most of the train diverted via Badnera (Amravati). Which is not natural.

GC for AII-COR-RTM-IND-KNW-AK-PAU was proposed in 1997 1st. Then The Rajput & Malwa REgions Royal Families staged demonstration against that decision. Otherwise by 2010 AII-PAU BG line would had been operational.
🙏 yes, and till now it will be double with electric. And also known Main route of Indian railway.
Khandwa Akola Purna is the shortest connectivity between Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, of NWR and Hyderabad, Guntur, Narsapur of SCR,

So request to all authority of Indian railway, Government, to complete the gauge conversion project between Indore Khandwa and Akola as early as possible,
Is bar budget to allocate hua hai iske liye and ab GC ka kaam bhi dheere dheere pura ho rha. we really hope now that the project gets completed ASAP.
