Shouldn't it run E2E with an E-loco since the entire journey route is electrified. i mean, IR can save lot of diesel.
Only till NJP the route is electrified and even NJP has begun Loco Change only in Covid times so before that even Barsoi NJP was a diesel route. NJP to GHY is electrification is going on. So whenever it will restart it will run with E-loco till NJP and in future End to End once GHY is electrified.
12517 ply KOA - AZ-NJP- GHY. Az to NFK still not electrified . So upto NJP eloco not possible. But if in this speed the working is going then by next year entire strech upto GHY will get eloco
