Pics are nice ,small correction they are not linked to Western ghats .because hills in coastel Maharashtra ,karnataka and Goa are called Western ghats

Actually, Western Ghats do extend into TN entering through Nilgiris. Theni, Virudunagar,Coimbatore,Erode,Salem,Dindugal,Kanniyakumari,Tenkasi,Tirunelveli,Tiruppur districts have Western Ghat ranges. Infact in IMD and TN Gov Press Releases, they label these districts as "Merku thodarchi malai thodar otti ulla maavatangal" meaning districts bordered by Western Ghats.
