Land acquisition was slow in Tumakuru district. This is the main reason for delay in executing this project

CRS inspection was done in Gangavathi - Karatagi section few months ago. But any passenger/express trains are not running in this section even after commissing
Bagalkot - Khajjidoni section of Bagalkot - Kudachi route was functional before lockdown. This project didn't progress further beyond Khajjidoni because of land acquisition issues
