Is there any major difference in HP or the technology used inside the locos
Nope, some software change and it is made HOG capable.
It's been ages since something innovative indiguneously has happened in IR as far as propulsion is concerned.

They Just Re - designed loco shell other than no major changes done this for loco.
CLW doing pretty much good R& D for WAG series but failing to upgrade WAP series.
