Possible hai, but the linear structure of the state+lobbying by politicians for trains and halts means you don't have many sections with non stop run, nor much space to change alignment to increase speed.
TVC raj, for instance, takes 10 hours to cross 622 kms from TVC to MAJN on FEDL taking 10 stops, while it takes almost 13 hours to go from MAJN to PNVL covering 828 kms with 4 stops despite the line being mostly single!! TVC raj has better average speed on single line KR than in Kerala which is FEDL owing to more stops and lower MPS, coupled with more cautions.

Yes Shoranur Coimbatore and Shoranur Mangaluru section can be 130 fit and can be expected soon.
Thiruvananthapuram Kollam Kayankulam section also can be 130 fit if some modifications are done.
But the step motherly treatment from SR and plays of Thiruvananthapuram Division won't help.

First of kerala people itself never allow any trains to skip any station/change timings of trains , step motherly treatment comes later.
Also kerala is having best train connectivity between cities, trains are slower majorly due to excessive halts.
