yes, blatantly electrifying each and every section in the name of 100% electrification, without analyzing its utility ecologically and economically will only lead to increase of pollution as a global whole in compensation, given the fact that still 62% of power generation in India is coal/crude based.
For example, vegetation cut to electrify shoranur- nilambur road section can never be compensated ecologically and economically by plying elocos there. This section( siliguri - new mal-alipurduar jn) also falls in the same league.
