Lets hope it gets opened and the pre-planned list of trains slowly move there. At least will get an idea on the connectivity part as well. Rumours are saying that Sep15 would be ideal coiniciding with birth anniversary of M. Visvesvaraya
Along with opening of Sir MV Terminal, if we get reorganization of zone boundaries in Karnataka, it will be sweet news for entire state.
Currently, 5 zones are in operation in Karnataka. SWR, SCR, KR, SR & CR. With South Coast zone SCoR coming to existence, they will be operating in Raichur Yadgir districts. More zones create more problems and definitely need rationalisation based on geographic continuity and regional requirements.
