Similar but 'real life' incident was on Discovery channel. A monkey is going for Water at river bank, and a Crocodile gets hold of his neck. and monkey is being dragged into deep. and suddenly crocodile is hit on his eyes by monkey so hard that the grip of crocodile loosens up and Monkey slips out of mouth making easy escape for monkey. This may sound hilarious, but how much threatening monkey would have felt.
