Dear Members,
I had made a e-ticket by train no:08567, vide no :6109617450 and had booked by 2nd ac. However, on the day of the journey , the coach was replaced by 3rd ac coach. We are family of 4 travelling from Vizag to Vijaywada. I tried to show TTE endorsement in vijayawada as suggested by me to get difference of fare , however was not entertained as it was e - ticket.

Dear sir
This simply could have been simple open and shut case, i am sure railways are aware the coach was not attached and can easily be known. If the passenger did purchase ticket through irctc thru internet, simple they could have refunded. Inspite, of this i went ahead to send the Original receipt by speed post.
I have copy of TTE endorsment vide receipt no086260, dated :10/05/12 and original has been sent to railways., as informed. hence, i did all things possible from my side. I have receipt...

Hope you get the refund soon as you are completely liable for full refund as per rule.
if you dont get refund,as i have advised kindly visit consumer court.i am sure there you will have your solution.
