what was the overall booking potential of this train compared to 12627/28 KK and 22691 Rajdhani? This train was taking longer route but it benefits inner Karnataka passengers atleast mainly to Hyderabad.
It used to have a superb patronage earlier when it used to depart in the night 10 PM from YPR.... especially... bookings to Jhansi used to be so much....
Not sure now after the route is changed.....
But I agree that it is catering to KA region more now which is good....

2 weeks back i saw 12649 at UBL. It was jam-packed but not sure if it was full till KCG or NGP or JHS or NZM. And 12650 also was full towards YPR so i guess it is somehow still running in profits (no comments on e2e journey though).
The interesting part on the day I was at UBL to board RC was there were 4 KSKs almost at same time as 12650 n 22685 were running late. So I am sure there would have been lot of confusion for the ppl who were boarding any of these 4 trains at UBL.
