Why are old tunnels wet from inside? Due to vegetation? Saw that nearly all tunnels of Kalka Shimla Route were wet from inside.

I think new tunnels mein yeh issue nahi hoga because andar se aajkal sab cemented hote hain. Is it?

Naye tunnels mein bhi specific distance mein drainage diya hua rehta hai.
Agar poora pack kar denge to water pressure se ceiling bhi burst ho sakta hai
