The way Kalyani is developing it would be very helpful to extend the Simanta line into Tribeni on the BDC-KWAE line and further into MAGRA on the HWH-BWN- main line.
And it is also important to link this line to the Ranaghat side also and also build Y lines at Tribeni and Magra .
That way load on NH-BDC will be reduced also it will allow for movement into

Getting small portion land for railway is a headache. Political parties, compensation demand, freebies demand, etc issues shall follow. And running freight will be issue on this already congested single line on both sides. Railways won't invest in this state
