earlier it was a meter gauge but after new railway line to Banka (Bihar). It is converted to Broad Gauge.
are you sure? i have been a resident of that area since last couple of decades but never heard of bgp mandar hill being metre gauge. banka route was inaugurated in 2003 i suppose but even before that it was broad gauge is what i know...
