What are the chances of getting a tatkal ticket ?I have to travel from Delhi to Bangalore on the November1st,Can I be sure that I will get a tatkal ticket ?Because I will have to cancel an earlier ticket that I have booked for 31st October

no of seats in tatkal are different in different trains and classes
You wont be able to log-in only, booking a ticket is a later issue.
try prs it is better then trying on irctc
